Welcome to TxTRDGlory Studio. By booking an appointment or consultation, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies:

Appointment & Consultation

• Consultation Requirement: A consultation is mandatory before booking a Microlocks or Sisterlocks establishment. 

• Please arrive with clean hair in its natural state and free of any products.

• Full payment is due BEFORE time of service for an establishment. All payments are final.

• A deposit of 50 percent of payment will be due at time of booking. The deposit is non-refundable but is transferable.   

• Establishments will be serviced on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. (Weekdays may be serviced, dates must be agreed upon.)

• Minimum Time Between Consultation & Establishment: There is a minimum 2-week period between the consultation and establishment. 

• (For child establishments, please bring items that your child prefers for entertainment, i.e books, tablet, stuffed animal, comfy pillow, blanket, snacks etc.) 

• Your child must be 7 years of age to receive an establishment. 

• Child (10 and under) establishments and maintenance will have first priority for weekend dates, unless adult establishments or maintenance are scheduled in advance. 

• Only child being serviced and one parent or guardian are allowed at the time of service. 

• PARENTS: Please do not rush service time. Working with children may require more time due to bathroom/food breaks, ability to sit for an extended period of time. 

• If for any reason you are unable to book online, please text phone number below to confirm service type, date, and time.

• Establishment Duration: Please allow 1-3 days (for adults) 1 to 4 days (for children) for the establishment process depending on behaviors, hair density and length. 

• Follow-Up Visit: Included in the establishment cost, the follow-up visit is scheduled 4 weeks post-establishment. Failure to attend within this timeframe will result in regular retightening rates applying. 

• For transfer clients, a consultation is required to determine eligibility of service.

  Service Requirements

• Hair Condition: Hair must be in its natural, with no color damage, or heat damage/training.

• Hair Length: Qualifying length must be 2 inches or more for establishment. 

• Trim Requirement: Clients must arrive with freshly trimmed ends prior to the establishment date.

• Health Considerations: Please disclose any issues that may impact your establishment, such as loss of edges, balding, alopecia, or dermatitis. 

Pricing & Payment

• Retightening by Interlock Rates:

• Under 500 locks retightened within the last 6 weeks: $45.00 per hour. 

• Under 500 locks or retightened after 6-8 weeks: $50.00 per hour. 

• Under 500 locks or retightened after 9-11 weeks: $55.00 per hour. 

• Under 500 locks or retightened after 12 weeks or more: Hair must be evaluated to determine pricing as this is no longer considered a basic retightening. 

• Repair/Reconstruction for severe slippage/unraveling: Starting at $65.00 per hour. (This is not a crochet service)

• All pricing is firm and non-negotiable.  

• No refunds will be issued after service is provided.

• Consultation Fee: A consultation is $25.00 for 30 minutes to an hour. 

Social Media

• TxTRDGlory reserves the right to document, record, produce photographs as evidence of work and promote business practices. You will be asked to be posted on social media pages representative of TxTRDGlory. Faces will not be shown unless client has granted written permission of use. You reserve the right to decline participation in any posting in affiliation with TxTRDGlory.

 Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are accepted up to 48 hours before the scheduled service. You will be responsible for initiating the rescheduling of canceled appointment. 

• Late Cancellation Fee: Within 48 hours of the service, cancellations will incur a $75.00 rescheduling fee. 

• Late fee of $15.00 per 15 minutes. 

• Please communicate within 30 minutes if you are going to be late as adjustments or rescheduling may need to be made. 

• If for any reason I may need to adjust appointment date, client will be contacted as soon as possible and a discount of $45.00 will be applied to next appointment.

• Please note policies may be updated at any time. Please read through them carefully and thoroughly.

• Hours: Tuesday-Friday: 9:00am to 6:30pm. Saturday: 7:00am-3pm (last client). Sunday: 7:00am to 3pm(last client). 

• Acceptable form of payment: Cash, Cash app, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, Square.
